This is to present the profile of Doctor Andrzej Morawski – university professor, one of the world pioneers of minimally invasive gynaecological procedures performed with the laparoscopic technique. The university professor, Andrzej Morawski, performs the full spectrum of women’s procedures at the Medfemina hospital.

The university professor, Andrzej Morawski, is a European authority in the field of female laparoscopy. As one of the pioneers of laparoscopic techniques, he actively participated in the development of laparoscopic methods and tools, from the very beginning of introducing laparoscopic techniques in German hospitals. As a long-term head and director of leading German women’s clinics, for many years he was responsible for gynaecology and obstetrics departments. Currently, Doctor Morawski educates younger colleagues in laparoscopic surgeries at the Medfemina Hospital in Wrocław and at the Medical University of Poznań and Bytom. He is the author of several dozen significant scientific papers and instructional videos, as well as the key scholar of the first in Poland, comprehensive laparoscopic course for gynaecologists. Professor Andrzej Morawski successfully performed over 5,000 laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries and thousands of other procedures.
