HyFoSy test description

HyFoSy is a modern method of testing fallopian tube patency. At our Centre in Wrocław, HyFoSy is performed on an outpatient basis after a preliminary qualifying visit.
FALLOPIAN TUBE PATENCY TESTING USING THE 3D/4D HYFOSY METHOD

Up to 40% of cases of infertility in couples may be due to fallopian tube pathology, which is why checking their patency is an integral part of diagnosing women who are trying to conceive.

3D/4D HYFOSY (Hysterosalpingo-Foam-Sonography) is a modern method based on the use of a delicate foam with microbubbles (ExEmFoam), which makes the fallopian tubes visible in a 3D/4D ultrasound examination.

The examination is performed by a certified specialist in 3D/4D ultrasound and fallopian tube diagnostics.

During the examination, a thorough assessment of the structure of the uterus and the patency of the fallopian tubes is performed without the need to expose the patient to general anaesthesia, X-rays or hospitalisation. The examination takes place during a gynaecological visit and does not require fasting.

3D/4D HYFOSY is a long-awaited, gentle revolution in the diagnosis of infertility causes.
