• 1986 – doctoral dissertation – ‘Analysis of etiological factors and treatment methods of intrauterine foetal growth restriction’
• 1987–1999 – postdoctoral thesis: ‘Foetal hypotrophy in the light of microstructure and ultrastructure analysis of blood vessels in the maternal-foetal-placental unit and assessment of pregnancy progression and postpartum condition’ – postdoctoral degree in medical sciences.
