Professor Piotr Wójcicki, MD, PhD

In 1989, he obtained his second degree in plastic surgery, in 2012 he obtained the title of professor of medical sciences, and in 2015
he took up the position of full professor at the Medical University of Wrocław. From 2008 to 2018, he served as Head of the Plastic Surgery Clinic in Wrocław and Head of the Department in Polanica Zdrój.
He completed individual internships abroad at many renowned plastic surgery centres, including Hospital General Manuel Gea Gonzalez in Mexico City, Universitätsklinik Für Plastische und Wiederherstellundschirurgie, Clinica La Luz in Madrid, and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan.
His scientific achievements include over 110 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, he is the co-author of three chapters on plastic surgery. He has been awarded first-degree scientific awards by the Rector of the Medical University of Wrocław seven times.
For many years, he has been giving lectures and practical classes on surgical techniques at thematic and advanced courses, as well as to fourth- and fifth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Under the supervision of Prof. Wójcicki, nine doctors have obtained specialisations and three surgeons have obtained doctorates in plastic surgery.
Under the supervision of Prof. Wójcicki, the Plastic Surgery Clinic began operating in Polanica Zdrój in 1998, and in 2010 another clinic was opened in Wrocław on Kukuczki Street. Currently, the Wójcicki Clinic employs two other specialists, Dr Karolina Wójcicka, MD, and Aleksandra Wójcicka, MD.
The Polanica centre mainly performs rejuvenating procedures, such as cheek lifts, eyelid surgery, fat injections, as well as corrective breast augmentation and reduction, ear correction, abdominoplasty and liposuction, correction of cleft deformities and scars, and many, many others. The Wrocław centre performs aesthetic medicine procedures.
