• 1987 diploma of a doctor, title obtained at the Medical Academy of Wrocław
• 1988 – 1989 postgraduate internship
• 1989 – 1991 junior assistant at the Department of Oncological Surgery I, Lower Silesian Oncology Centre in Wrocław
• 1991 – 1st degree specialization in general surgery – full-time assistant in the Department of Oncological Surgery
• 1993 – 1994 Prince of Wales scholarship – assistant in the breast cancer department led by prof. R. W. Blamey at Nottingham City Hospital.
• 1994 – 1996 assistant in the departments of general surgery, thoracic surgery and cardio-surgery of the municipal hospital in Nottingham
• 1997 – 2005 senior assistant at the Department of Oncological Surgery of the Lower Silesian Oncology Centre in Wrocław, specialization in oncological surgery
• 2005 – Doctor of Medical science, PhD thesis on mammotomic biopsy
• 2006 – 2009 head of the Department of Breast Diseases at Carlisle Hospital (Great Britain)
• Since 2010, he has been a senior assistant at the Department of Oncological Surgery of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wrocław
